But as a desi dad who is father and son of a teacher, I found a syntax error here:

Doesn’t Allah subhanahu wa ta’ala make Himself availible to us all the time, and do we not use this resource?

I think that you meant “don’t we not use –”

I loved the analogy, subhanAllah!

Perhaps you can survey your students, its quite possible that they are afraid to come and ask for help, or perhaps the timing doesnt work out for them. It may give them more ownership and initiative if get their input. Allahu a’lam, I’m not a teacher nor anywhere near that field.
